Illustration of a rural landscape with a thatched-roof house, a wooden bridge, and ducks near a pond. Two green 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the top right. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 29, 1918, addressed to a 'dear grandmother,' mentioning work in Criffon and prices for farm products. A postmark from Pardigny is visible.
