Description

Postcard depicting a sailor in a photo inserted into a large blue and yellow violet flower, with printed text: « Far away between sky and water, I reread your sweetest word ». On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated February 12, 1925, addressed to a « Mademoiselle », signed « Bernard », sent from the 14th Depot of Fleet Equipment in Cherbourg. Blue 25-centime stamp of the French Republic, postmarked.
