Panoramic view of Foix, in Ariège, showing the city perched on a promontory with its ramparts and towers, dominated by a fortress castle. A stone bridge crosses a watercourse in the foreground. The reverse has a handwritten address to Edouard Fouchier in Boulou, Haute-Garonne, and a sender's signature. A blue 10-centime stamp is affixed on the front, with a postmark from Foix dated 19 December 1904.
