Young woman in traditional Alsace costume, wearing a large black hat and holding a bouquet, posing near a lake. Printed text at the bottom: 'Elsässerin - Alsacienne'. Reverse: postcard published by Kunstverlag J. Beitz, Strasbourg, no. 6410, with a 10 pfennig German postage stamp and a Strasbourg (Alsace) postmark dated 13 September 1916. Handwritten message addressed to Madame Adèle Dindieuveux in Paris.
