Young woman in traditional Alsatian costume, wearing a large ribboned hat, sitting on a carved chair. Printed text at the bottom: 'Elsässerin Alsacienne' and signature 'Ernestine Indas'. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Madame Léontine Dupuis, Château-Chinon, Chérie, France', red 10-centime postmark, cancellation 'STRASBOURG 24.03.1903'.
