Portrait of a smiling young woman wearing a large black hat and a white-collar dress, with printed text at the bottom: 'Chérie Mademoiselle'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mademoiselle' in La Garde near Moulans (Var), with a 10 centimes stamp and a cancellation mark 'ELSAßERIN' dated 23 August 1905.
