Description

Woman in traditional Alsatian costume, wearing a large black hat, sitting near a spinning wheel. Printed text in multiple languages: 'Elsässer Tracht', 'Costume Alsacien', and the serial number 'A. 206'. On the reverse, a red 5 pfennig stamp canceled in 'Elsass' on July 18, 1908, with handwritten address to Rose Ginge, 3 Rue de Lucer, Marseille.
