Postcard depicting a man in traditional Alsatian costume, wearing a black hat, a bright pink vest, a patterned black tie, and a pipe. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Rose Gruge in Marnhull, a cancellation of 'MELCHIORSHAUSEN' dated August 12, 1916, and a 10 pfennig German postage stamp.
