Young woman in traditional Alsatian costume, wearing a large knotted bonnet, posing in a paved courtyard in front of a timber-framed house. Printed text at the bottom: '3A YOUNG ALSACIAN IN COSTUME'. Reverse: postcard sent from Kirchwiller (Bas-Rhin) to Mr. Henri Vin. Val in Marseille, with two blue stamps of 10 and 90 centimes, postmark 'BAS-RHIN MAISONS-LAFITTE', and handwritten French text.
