Description

Colored illustration of two young women in regional costumes: one in Lorraine attire with a white cap and embroidered scarf, the other in Alsacienne attire with a large black hat. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Albert Faure in Paris, dated 1825, with two green 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Gas (Bas-Rhin).
