Woman in traditional Berrichonne headwear, sitting in front of a wooden gate, knitting. Printed text at the bottom: 'We leave hats to the beautiful ladies / In Châtre we all wear the bonnet. / The square headwear makes them even more beautiful / The gentle, playful ladies who know how to wear it.' Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated November 6, 1914, addressed to Monsieur P. Savatête in Marseille, with a postmark and Ardenne cancellation (7-14).
