Humorous caricature depicting the different authorities of a country: military, civil, ecclesiastical, and others, in a rural setting. On the reverse, a handwritten letter from Dr. Caffrey to M. Lérant in Deuil, Seine-et-Oise, dated 12 October 1914, with a stamp and cancellation mark from Deuil.
