Scene of a traditional Auvergne dance, the 'Bourrée', with several people in local costumes in a rural setting. Printed text at the bottom: 'TYPES D'AUVERGNE — la Bourrée — LL.'. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Mme Chamiot-lès-Bise' in Lyon, with a note 'Une grace à ma mère'. Green 25-centime postage stamp of the French Republic, cancelled in Pierremande on August 8, 1908.
