Portrait of an elderly Auvergne peasant woman, dressed in a patterned scarf and bonnet, seated with hands joined. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Mademoiselle Favarel in Carcassonne, with two 5-centime stamps and a cancellation mark from Cunlhat (Aude) dated April 30, 1904.
