Scene of rural life in Auvergne showing a woman in traditional costume and a man with a shovel and basket in front of a stone house. Printed text at the bottom: « Anen, drolo ! Partissen ès la vigne. La pico dau jour ma trouba lous fenians au lei. » and « Allons, ma fille ! partons à la vigne : Le lever du jour ne doit trouver que les fainéants au lit. » On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to « Cousine » and signed « Daury Taure », with a partially legible stamp and postmark.
