Description

Postcard showing a woman in traditional Sardinian costume, identified as 'La Tarantaise', in Brides-les-Bains in 1902. The reverse has handwritten text 'Black eyes are so pretty' and the signature 'Stéphane'. The address is directed to Madame Marie-Jamien at the Hôtel des Alpes in Saint-Étienne-de-Cuines, via the Chambre, Savoie. A 5-centime postage stamp is affixed with a postmark from Brides-les-Bains.
