Description

Woman in traditional Angevin costume, wearing a ruffled bonnet, holding a drum. Printed text in verse on the front: 'O little girls of Anjou that I love your bonnets, Lace butterflies, with wide white wings, Seem to flutter among the branches, The browned gold of the gorse and the bright gold of the broom.' On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame Nogrie in Marseille, postmark and cancellation 'Angers 25/11/04'.
