Description

Young woman in traditional costume from Lorient, wearing a marbled-patterned dress and a white embroidered bonnet, posing with her hand on her chin. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 15th, 1903, addressed to 'dear Roger', mentioning a prize distribution and a commission to Piquet. The stamp and postmark are visible at the top left.
