Description

Woman in traditional Savoyard costume from Bourg-St-Maurice, with embroidered scarf and fringes, posing in front of a curtain and carved furniture. Reverse: 5-cent postage stamp, postmark from Saint-Pierre-de-Var (Savoie) dated April 27, 1905, addressed to M. and Mme Lecat in Paris, with printed text on the front prohibiting correspondence on the reverse for certain foreign countries.
