Three women in period costume are seated at a table covered with patterned fabric, practicing the art of embroidery. The printed text at the bottom of the front reads 'Tourangelles Seamstresses — N.P.' and the number 312. On the back, a postcard from the publisher Lévy Fils & Cie, Paris, features handwritten text dated April 11, 1907, addressed to 'Madame Léonard' in Tournon.
