Portrait of a woman in traditional Flemish costume, seated on a chair, holding a lace-making project. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence in purple ink addressed to T. Deuvelles in L'Ambolaise (France), with a postmark from La Panne dated July 14, 1907. Two Belgian 5-centime stamps are affixed at the bottom of the front.
