An elderly woman in traditional attire, sitting on a stone bench in front of a wooden wall, working on lace. She wears a wide, rounded headpiece typical of the region. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated around 1914, addressed to a recipient in Puy, with a postage stamp and a postmark from Puy.
