Portrait of a woman in traditional Breton costume, wearing a white lace bonnet, dressed in a dark dress with white collar and chain. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Helles in Landes, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Landes dated 17 October 1898.
