Courtyard scene where a woman in a red and green dress watches chickens feeding on the ground in front of a partially brick wall decorated with roses. Printed text at the bottom: 'The Chicken Lunch'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame Blanche Charras in Baudarais (Bouches-du-Rhône), with message 'Mille bonnes raisons' signed H. Rigig. French postage stamp of 5 centimes, cancellation visible.
