Scene of courtesy where a man in traditional Breton costume, wearing a beret and a braided jacket, offers flowers to a woman in a long dress and white bonnet. On the reverse, a 5-centime stamp of the 'La Poste' type (1877–1885) and a postmark from Lorient dated 20 May 1903. The address is intended for Mme Emile Cantela Breuil in Paris, with a handwritten message 'Amities à tous'.
