Description

Postcard showing two children in festive attire, a boy in a top hat and a girl in a ruffled dress, dancing the bourrée in Issoire in 1830. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Madame V. J. Bourrageas' in Nîmes, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Marseille dated 10-6. The sender is Jean Gouard, who mentions the birth of his grandson and the presence of Maman and Mimi.
