Description

Village scene with a woman in traditional costume standing near a stone door, a man sitting on the steps holding a child. Two green 25-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the top left. On the reverse, handwritten text informs that correspondents will arrive at 7:30, and mentions a commission from Mlle F. to Allier. The address is intended for Mr. Croubalt at Charcuterie, Hemil, Allier. The postmark of Commentry, 25-10-1945, is visible.
