Description

Scene of a traditional dance outdoors with several couples dancing the Bourrée à Quatre, accompanied by a musician playing the accordion. Printed text explains that this dance is a variant of the waltz and quadrille, particularly honored in Auvergne and Velay. Reverse: green 5 centimes stamp, postmark from Chaulieu (10/6/1914), address to Mrs. Anna Pellegrin in Saint-Paul-de-Varces, Loire, and mention of the Margerit-Bremond collection.
