Description

Scene in a courtyard where a woman in a dark dress observes a group of chickens feeding. The printed text at the bottom of the front reads « The Chicken Lunch ». On the reverse, a handwritten address is directed to Madame Marie Jeaume in Marseille, with a note about her occupation. A 10-centime French Republic postage stamp, canceled in Marseille, is affixed at the bottom right.
