Description

Two young women in period costume pose in front of a green wall at Les Sables-d'Olonne. One wears a white dress with a necklace and bracelet, the other a striped dress with a decorated hat. On the reverse, the postcard is addressed to Valentine Foulquier in Marseille, with a handwritten date of 31 August 1917. A green 5 centime stamp is affixed at the bottom right.
