Description

Night scene inside a room, a couple in traditional Breton costumes (woman in lace dress, man in jacket) praying in front of a simple altar with a lit candle. Printed text at the bottom: 'The Closed Bed - Wedding Evening - The Prayer'. Back: postcard dated 30 October 1918, sent from Magyar to Mme Méner in Germain-en-Laye (Seine-et-Oise), with handwritten message 'Affecting greetings from your friend Eugénie'.
