Description

Woman in traditional costume drawing water from a stone fountain in a Norman alley. Two green 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the top right. The reverse has handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Morand in Pithiviers (Loiret), with a postmark from 'Mareilly' dated 27 February 1904.
