Portrait of a young woman wearing a lace Norman headdress, identified as « Coiffure dite « Bourgogne » » in the caption. The reverse features a handwritten address to Mademoiselle Morand on Île d'Orléans, a message « Bon souvenir » and a postmark from Loiret dated August 1, 1908. A green 5-centime stamp is affixed at the top left.
