Portrait of a young woman wearing a traditional Norman headwear, adorned with lace and a veil, with an embroidered bodice. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to 'Chère Maria' from 'St Vincent', dated 'Bellemê 24', with mentions of Paris and Emile. The stamp and postmark are illegible.
