Two young women in traditional Norman costumes are sitting, one wearing a bonnet and a patterned dress, the other a large lace veil. The reverse has a handwritten letter from Suzanne to her correspondent, with a mention of publisher 'A. Cubois, publisher, Cemma (Calvados)' and a partial postmark.
