Portrait of a peasant in traditional costume from Celles, wearing the headwear « la Pelleboise », in front of a stone wall. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated February 14, addressed to Mrs. Broussard, with a note about departure for Guéret around March 9 or 10. The stamp and postmark are not visible.
