Description

Postcard depicting a couple in Breton costume, the man in military uniform and the woman in a traditional dress adorned with lace. Printed text on the front: « In the land of pardons and church spires, Nothing, no nothing is charming like first love. It is the golden ray whose divine splendor Suddenly penetrates the heart and illuminates it. » On the reverse, handwritten address to Monsieur Dupont, Professor of dance, Rue de Rennes, Paris, with a 9-centime postmark and a cancellation stamp from Cerizy (Ceriza) dated January 31, 1905.
