Description

Group of eight young women in traditional Savoyard costumes, seated or standing on a carpet, some holding objects such as a spinning wheel or basket. Reverse: handwritten message dated August 1st, 1923 from Savoy, sent to Mr. Schmiegans in Paris, with a 10c stamp and a postmark from Apremont.
