Description

Woman in traditional Tarentaise costume, with headdress and embroidered scarf, posing in front of an interior setting. The front has a green 5c Republic of France stamp canceled in Chambéry. The reverse: handwritten correspondence dated August 24, 1917, addressed to Madame Brevil at the Hôtel de la Conlonnette in Plan de Chez, with a postal stamp from Saint-Jean-de-Cherel.
