Woman in a traditional Savoyard costume from Saint-Jean-d'Arves, holding a large terracotta jar, posed in front of a stone fountain sculpted with a lion's head and a small putto. Printed text at the bottom: '19 Costumes of Savoy (Saint-Jean-d'Arves)'. Reverse: handwritten text dated Sunday, June 29, 1918, addressed to Dominique, with the publisher 'E. REYNAUD, ÉDITEUR, CHAMBERY' at the bottom left.
