Portrait of a young woman in traditional Savoyard costume, wearing a large white hat and a fringed headpiece, with a laced corset. The verso features handwritten correspondence addressed to Marseille, two green stamps of 25c and 5c, and a cancellation from Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves dated 24 February 1940.
