Description

Three people in traditional Berry attire, a man in the center with an egg basket, two women on either side, in front of a vegetal background. Printed text at the bottom: 'To sell the eggs of the backyard, Our best chickens and backyard butter, At the market we return at good hour And we put on our fine clothes.' Back: French 25-centime postage stamp, Châteauroux cancellation of 27 August 1918, handwritten address to Mademoiselle Myette Tradayrol in Ribstein, Cantal, with note 'Correspondence' and 'Postcard for landscapes and its monuments'.
