Black and white portrait of a Breton woman wearing a patterned bonnet, with a thoughtful expression, her chin resting on her hand. The work is signed and dated J. SCHERBECK 1935 at the bottom right. On the reverse, the card bears the inscription 'No 7. - HEADS OF BRITTANY 4th Series' and indicates the edition Hélio-Lorraine, Nancy, with a note prohibiting reproduction.
