Portrait of a Breton woman from Saint-Patern wearing a traditional white headpiece with a bow and a dark garment with embroidered borders. Printed text at the top: 'VANNES — Woman of Saint-Patern — Study of Breton Headwear'. Reverse: handwritten address to Montélimar (Drome), dated 12 October 1905, with a postmark from Vannes and a postmark from Montélimar.
