Description

Interior of the Church of Notre-Dame in Fontenay-le-Comte, a historic monument built around 1425 on the site of a Romanesque church, of which the crypt remains. The church was ruined by war in 1568, restored in 1600, and restored around 1550. On the altar, an Assumption by Robert Lefèvre, given by Charles X. Reverse: postcard dated summer 1915, sent by a soldier to the 274th Line Regiment to Monsieur Cosmao, Head of the National Agencies Office in Paris.
