Description

Postcard showing the sculpted tombs of Richard I of England (called the Lionheart) and Eleanor of Guienne, wife of Henry II and mother of Richard I, in the Abbey of Fontevraud. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated 15 October 1920, sent from Fontevraud to Chalons-sur-Marne, with a 25-centime blue stamp and a Fontevraud postmark.
