Aerial view of the Fontevrault Abbey, a monastery founded in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 12th, 13th and 16th centuries, with its towers and slate roofs. Reverse: postcard sent on Monday, May 29, 1931 from Fontevrault to Madame Picard in Paris, with a 17-franc French postage stamp and a circular cancellation from Fontevrault (M.-et-L.) dated May 24, 1931. The publisher is R. Dorange, publisher from Tours.
