Description

Black and white view of a path lined with bare trees leading to the Armistice Crossroads and the "Matin" Monument in Compiègne, erected in 1922. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 1923, addressed to Madame Nicolas in Châlons, with a green 10-centime stamp and a Compiègne postmark.
