Commemorative monument of the 1918 Armistice located in the Compiègne Forest, surrounded by bare trees. The inscription on the monument honors the heroic soldiers of France, defenders of the fatherland and the right. Reverse: postal stamp and Compiègne City postmark dated November 14, 1919, addressed to A. L'Hoste, 133 Rue Lafayette, Paris.
