View of the Forêt de Compiègne in 1915, showing a long line of buses and military trucks on a forest road. The front bears the inscription 'La Guerre 1914-1915' and '140 R.P.J.C. Paris'. The reverse presents a handwritten correspondence dated June 1915, addressed to Madame Auguste Bonnefoy, with a stamp and a postmark from 'TRESCHETTES' dated 15 June 1915.
